PRESENT
Geo Polk is a pianist with a bachelor's degree in Electronic Production and Design from Berklee College of Music. They have released an EP, Homework, and have an upcoming independent album set to release late 2025.
Through an eclectic upbringing and work in Tampa, Florida, Geo has studied many musical styles and environments. The piano is their first instrument. Geo started casual private piano lessons from multiple instructors at the age of 6, studied voice with Gulf Coast Youth Choirs under Lynne Gackle from age 7-18, and studied guitar intermittently since age 10. Geo Polk specializes in accompaniment, musical theater, pop, metal, classic rock, and gospel/soul. Geo was enrolled as a homeschooler in DeArmon CAST, a theater school. By the second year, they was arranging and directing music for original productions put on by the company. As years went on, their role as a musician expanded: They began teaching private lessons, designing and running sound, creating tracks for shows, and assisting with music direction. When Geo was 14, they took a job at Carrollwood Players Community Theater to arrange and direct music for their summer young adult musical and was taken on the following summer for another show. In the last 3 years of high school, Geo took on multiple projects and jobs. They composed and performed 172 piano cues live for "It's a Wonderful Life", a radio drama; hired as a music/tech director at DeArmon CAST and Gaither High School in Tampa, FL, for Aladdin Jr!, Into The Woods, Title Of Show, and Peter Pan Jr!; they've instructed private piano students ranging in age from 4-28, and they took on weekly gigs for five years as a keyboardist for Grace Family Church.

Geo Polk started a college education at St. Petersburg Junior College in Tarpon Springs, FL. After completing general education and attending Berklee's 5-Week Performance Summer Program, they transferred to Berklee College of Music to study Electronic Production and Design.
While at Berklee, Geo explored and became proficient in sound design through many production tools including Logic, Ableton Live, Cycling 74's Max, Pro Tools, Reason, C Sound, NI soft synths such as FM8, Massive, Absynth, as well as iZotope's own RX6, Equator, Unity, the messy art of circuit bending, and Eurorack modulars. They worked for the school and outwards while diving into studies. Once discovered by peers as a mover and shaker, their free time evolved into producing and consulting work. Outside of the halls of Berklee, Geo took up any opportunity to broaden their understanding and palate, such as attending Expo'74 and CTM2018 Turmoil. They started A2 work with MediaStructura, and then began freelancing as an Audio Technician.

Now graduated, with further diversified knowledge and acquired experience, Geo relocated to California and is seeking to better themselves and the world around them by collaborating and creating.
